stay together - friends and family campaign

Everyday around the world, special bonds are formed by people using Skype. Whether it’s about keeping a Sunday tradition of families cooking together even though they are thousands of miles apart, or keeping in touch with your favorite cousin in Brazil, Skype helps people have meaningful relationships. Working with an AOR, The Stay Together campaign highlights these types of stories and their unique ‘family’ portraits captured by artist John Clang.

SARAH & PAIGE

Final story for the campaign, Sarah and Paige were picked from hundreds of user submissions. Best friends who share a special bond without ever having met face to face.

DENIS

First video that started the Stay Together campaign. Denis, a refugee from Uganda, can not go home to visit his family. But he and his family maintain a Sunday ritual of cooking together by using Skype.

LINDSAY

Lindsay learned all her animal training from a family zoo in Australia. Now in Alabama, she stays in touch with them through Skype.

Julia

Two cousins living in different countries grow up and stay close by using Skype.

As part of the campaign, artist John Clang takes extraordinary 'family' portraits by projecting the Skype images of separated loved ones onto a surface and photographing them.
